The Business object can then be retrieved back into a CL program variable by use of command GETxVAR. A user defined variable in the PCL file has the following syntax: .xxx('yyy') where . is a dot, xxx is the userdefined command name and yyy are the data. E.g. ".CustNumber('123456')" will cause a Business Object named CustNumber to be created containing 123456 as data.

But because you are having a User Exit program to archive the last inbound fax, the system uses more time than normally. And when we returns back to our communication program we was re-setting the modem, but at that time the next fax was "knocking at the door" (RING). This caused the next inbound fax to fail.

- .FAXNO now implemented for PCL files, so you can now send a PCL Spooled File by email or fax simply by putting .FAXNO command directly in the PCL print stream.
- Fewer pages were sent if the form type for a Spooled File did not exists as an overlay. This also caused the next transmission to have parts of the previous transmission merged over the page.
- New status for "Passive" communications line added. This status will cause the specific line NOT to start up when the subsystem are restarted.
- User Class of *USER are not allowed to change the "Send User" in the WRKxJOB subfile.
BlueSeries PTF0078: (19-May-2003) Following changes/fixes are made:

Do as follows:

Fixes in PTF0035:
This PTF come with some new features and enhancements.
1) Automatically print of fax copy.
You can now in the "Work with system values" (option 15 on the BlueFax main menu) indicate if you want to generate an automatically printed hardcopy of the fax copy. You can choose between; a) All faxes, b) Sent OK or c) Error. The copy is printed on a output queue of own choice.
2) New and enhanced keywords in the command CPYFAXITM.
3) An outputqueue can be dedicated to one faxnumber.
BlueFax users who are sending a large amount of faxes - to few known recipients - have asked for a feature where the faxes are all routed by output queues. This feature is here! . Example: All print moved to the output queue "COMPA1" will be faxed automatically to this company.
4) The ECS service line using an IBM 7852 modem - can also be used by BlueFax.
It is now possible from BlueFax, to control if the V.24 line is set in synchron or asynchron mode. This will enable e.g. companies with a serviceline to IBM (connected 1-2 hours each night) to use this line for BlueFax for the rest of the day.
If you have more than one fax lines - it is a good idea to use the two new commands STRFAXLIN and ENDFAXLIN for the ESC line. This will enable BlueFax to run on the remaining lines while there is service on the system.
5) Handling of rotated print in InterForm documents.
(For InterForm users only).
Faxing of "landscape" InterForm documents have until now proven to be a complex affair. This is now fixed. An other problem where related to InterForm documents with both normal and rotated print, in the one and same document. This is also fixed. We have implemented rotation of TEXT in our API’s.
This can cause "old" installations to cause problems.
It is very important that you test all old forms BEFORE you start the production using PTF0035
NOTE - If you are using InterForm version 9901M07 or previous versions, please be aware of the following known problems:
a) It is impossible - in the one and same operation - to both "Remap" and rotate 90 degrees. This will cause the BlueFax subsystem (FAXPREP) to stop.
b) "Remap" rotated 180 degrees, is placed incorrect.
c) The placing of rotated text (90 degrees and 270 degrees) is not a 100 percent in correct measurement.
